Canada Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

These Canada Terms summarize the terms for FairRate Canada mortgage renewal checks, reports, and related educational tools. The general FairRate Terms of Service also apply.

Nature of service

FairRate Canada is an independent educational benchmark tool. It is not a mortgage broker, mortgage agent, lender, financial advisor, credit counsellor, or law firm. Nothing on FairRate Canada is a mortgage offer, approval, rate guarantee, or regulated financial advice.

Canadian reports

FairRate Canada reports are based on the information you provide and available Canadian mortgage context. Reports may include a rate fairness verdict, benchmark comparison, estimated cost gap, negotiation questions, email scripts, and before-you-sign checklists.

Accuracy and limitations

Mortgage offers can change quickly and depend on your exact borrower profile, property, lender policy, insurance status, renewal timing, amortization, penalties, and documentation. FairRate Canada makes no warranty that a lender will match, improve, or approve any specific rate.

Payments

Paid Canadian reports are processed by Stripe. All sales are final except where required by applicable law. If a technical failure prevents report delivery, contact support@fairrate.online so the issue can be reviewed.

No lender referral revenue

FairRate does not arrange mortgages, take mortgage applications, sell mortgage inquiries, or earn lender referral commissions. The service is funded by user-paid reports.

General terms

The full FairRate Terms of Service remain available at /terms. This Canada page exists so Canadian users and crawlers have a Canada-specific legal and trust path inside the /ca site structure.
